Where are they now?

Original post made by grapeVine, Downtown, on Dec 18, 2011

A few years back there was this story about a mom hiring strippers for her high school kid and her friends.

I always wonder how they fared after that incident and all the ruckus that created. I hope the kids did not have lasting psychological effects from that incident.

Just a well wisher!

Who really cares is my question, we've got plenty of more import issues to be concerned about I'd say.

Any lasting affects those girls had would have come from their lack of parenting rather than Strippergate.

The girls involved would be in age from 27 to 25 now. Not one of the girls that had a lead role in the event came from what most of us would consider a well adjusted family life. Two of the mothers, the one that blew the whistle and the one that hosted and funded the event were well known by other parents in the community as having very poor judgment prior to Strippergate. The other girls were just victims of circumstance that were in the wrong place at the wrong time and their parents were guilty of not checking up on who's house their daughters were at. I too hope the future of the young ladies involved is bright.

Talk about a random post.

I always enjoy reading the police report that made national news though: Web Link
