Original post made by Deanna on Nov 23, 2011

Really? My neighbors have their cans out. They're picking up garbage on Thanksgiving day?

Yeah, they came and your cans were out. Good job, Deanna!
What's the deal with Christmas week?
When do they come then?
Why don't they get Thanksgiving off?
Should I tip them at Christmas? Where would I leave the money?
Again, Deanna, you rock!

Regular service for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. You should have gotten that information in your last bill. Why don't they get Thanksgiving off??? Why don't a lot of people?? It's extra money on a holiday! Lots of people would love to work!! You can tip them at Christmas - but remember - there are 3 different trucks in Pleasanton - Greenwaste, Garbage and Recycle. My grandmother used to leave it on top of the can - but.....better to just run out there when they swing by.
