A 19-year-old Marine from Danville was killed in Afghanistan
Friday, the second Bay Area casualty of the war in the week.

My condolences and prayers for Lcpl Corral's family, friends and fellow Marines. May God grant you comfort and peace at this very difficult time. Joshua was and will forever be an American Hero. He will not be forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Corral family. Having lost our son in March, I know these are very trying times. Reach out to the various organizations to help you through these tough times. Gold Star Mom's has really helped my wife.

I know no words can replace your son. I think of our son we lost every moment of everyday. Keep him in your heart. He will never really be gone.
