"Service currently stops at midnight Fridays and starts again at 6 a.m. Saturdays, but board members are interested in later hours for riders who are out partying or working late on Friday nights."

We often want to take BART to the city to attend a concert, and sometimes those concerts end closer to midnight than they do to 10pm. I sure wouldn't call attending a concert "out partying", but it would be nice to have BART as an option and give a little leeway in getting from the venue to the nearest BART station before the trains stop...!

I've thought extending at least Fri & Sat night hours to 2:30am would be ideal. Some concerts, as well as all Bars go to 2am. It would be great if one could utilize BART after these close. Assuring safe travels for all.

The run-up to the holidays would be a great time to have the trains run a couple of hours later on the weekends. I'm sure there'd be a lot of business for bart especially on Saturday nights in December.

YES! YES! YES! EXTEND BART HOURS FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS!
THE CAB RIDE TO THE DUBLIN/PLEASANTON AREA FOR A MISSED BART TRAIN
IS OVER $ 100!

I'VE EXPERIENCED WHAT ITS LIKE TO MISS THE LAST TRAIN OUT OF EMBARCADERO AND HAD TO HIRE A CAB! IT'S PATHETIC, ALL THE OTHER "BIG CITIES" IN THE WORLD RUN THEIR TRAINS UNTIL LATER, GET WITH THE PROGRAM BAY AREA! PLEASE BECOME A WORLD CLASS MASS TRANSIT SYSTEM THAT OFFERS WORLD CLASS URBAN TRANSPORTATION THAT'S SAFE AND EFFICIENT!!

I have witnessed drivers on 580 and 24 headed to the East Bay after all the late night Holiday parties, and believe me you don't want these impaired drivers, feeling like "I better drive into SF cause My annual holiday office party will run past midnight and we won't be able to catch Bart home!"

This leads to accidents and fatalities, and I'd much rather dump these bozo's onto Bart and keep em off our highways....They'll at least have the hour ride home without any cocktails to attempt to come to their senses! Please extend BART hours especially around the holidays...The weekends are a blast in SF, and lots of us young folks just want to hang out at City places and not fret about a bart train midnite deadline! It's really not about drinking, its about experiencing life to the fullest and being able to rely on a cool transit system....With all the unemployed souls in the Bay Area these days, surely someone will agree to work a swing shift and operate the Holiday Hour Bart train, won't they?

Adopt the Nike philosophy.... JUST DO IT!!!
