Oak Grove developers cancel offer to delay suit against Pleasanton

Original post made on Oct 3, 2011

The landowners of 600 acres in the southeast hills have nixed an agreement they proposed to delay court actions against the city of Pleasanton over a denial of their 51-home Oak Grove development while city planners processed a substitute 10-home project.

So Kay and her gang want our city to keep spending our scarce tax dollars on more and more legal fees. And for what? If ultimately, as a result of all the lawsuits and referendums, the Lin's cannot develop their property with anything, then they will file a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the city alleging that their property has been taken without just compensation. Maybe Kay and her gang are really working for the Lins.

Just how many millions in legal fees is Kay and Karla's little initiative going to cost us? What a waste.

The Lins motto: "Suits will continue until you give us what we want."

Getting tired of the frivolous lawsuits of the Lins. They have lost them all but they keep filing.

I am confused...
The Lin's are too wealthy to really care about this one small piece of land. They have already made plenty of money from the investment they made in Pleasanton. This must be an agenda of someone local with something to gain.
We refere to the Lin's but is it their local representatives who are the momentum behind this campaign against Pleasanton? Is Mr. Inderbitzen the lawyer and person responsible for this attack on our city?

Editors to paragraph 5.

See the "a" in front of "possibly."

That is all.

You guys need to cash your checks from the Lins because it sounds like you are working for them! It is the LINs that are running up the legal bills. It is the LINs that are suing the city, not the Citizens.
