Osama Eyed a Name Change for alQaeda...

Original post made by TryThis, Amador Estates, on Jun 24, 2011

I'd simply rename alQaeda...to "Democrats." This party is just as anti-American and destructive as alQaeda.

"This party is just as anti-American and destructive as alQaeda. "

I'd have to say that is pretty much true of Republicans and Democrats. George Bush gave us "too big to fail", then Obama doubled down on it (with help from congress). The economy is still in shambles. With the financial services industry controlling both parties, there is no hope for fixing things while there is still and economy to fix. Now is the time for real change.

Patriot,

You may wish to research what caused the mess you speak of.

Wall Street creating asset tranches of class D-F assests, loans set up to FAIL with NO disregard and intentionally, co mingled with class A and B assetds, with NO regulation!

The economists advised the world as the mess was created and nobody cared to listen. Everyone was to fat and haapy including you clerarly.

NO party nor NO President created this mess and NO party or President can "fix the economy" as you State! Pandoras Box is OPEN for a LONG time to come!

Man begot man!

Dear "Patriot Democrat"...
First, I submit to you that a true patriot of America has the utmost respect for and abides by the U.S. Constitution. With this definition, it is impossible for democrats -- at least in this Obama regime -- to also be patriots because they are doing everything they can to violate, dismiss, or attempt to re-write our Constitution.

Secondly, I presume your definition of an "idiot" is one who doesn't live in your world or by your own values. If this definition is true, then you are probably right. Because democrats' world is based on intentions (vs. outcome) and collectivism (vs. individual liberty), among other things.

In addition, there are only three things I have a problem with regarding democrat "values" ... Namely they are against 1) life (e.g. in favor of abortion and Obama's death panels (which exist in Obamacare); 2) liberty (e.g. constantly restricting our freedoms by incessant regulations, and 3)the pursuit of happiness (e.g. against private property rights thru incessant use of eminent domain).

And finally, yes I do have a wonderful child who I am raising to love and respect this wonderful country...despite Democrats insistence that it is imperialistic and that its free-enterprise economy is unfair and should be destroyed.

Take a good look at yourself Patriot Democrat...and listen to media you are not familiar with. Remove yourself from the mainstream media. You might learn a thing or three. I was once a brainwashed liberal a long time ago before I woke up.

Try This, I interpreted "idiot" to mean a person who posts something of no intellectual value, and whose only goal is to inflame and anger, rather than to educate or present a cohesive point of view.

Try This,

Have you considered a reading tudor?

You wrote in your caption:

"Osama Eyed a Name Change for alQaeda"

The Article reads a set fourth:

"At the White House, the documents were taken as positive reinforcement for President Barack Obama's effort to eliminate religiously charged words from the government's language of terrorism. Words like "jihad," which also has a peaceful religious meaning, are out. "Islamic radical" has been nixed in favor of "terrorist" and "mass murderer." Though former members of President George W. Bush's administration have backed that effort, it also has drawn ridicule from critics who said the president was being too politically correct."

And you TWISTED words with TWISTED thinking and wrote following your post title:

"I'd simply rename alQaeda...to "Democrats." This party is just as anti-American and destructive as alQaeda."

Then you suggest that this article has some merit in backing up your TWISTED rhetoric...

"article >>> Web Link"

Thus I contiue to deem YOU an "idiot"....

as you

I disagree completely with this.

Plenty of the regulations put in place by congress in the 1930s kept our financial system stable for more than 50 years. It was the dismantling of those regulations and failure to control OTC derivatives and Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac that created the current disaster. Obama and congress had the opportunity to put things right. Instead they did the bidding of Wall Street and we are again in financial peril.

And who is responsible for deregulation? Multiple presidents, both republican and democratic...though Reagan comes to mind first.

Bush had the best experts on the planet blatently warning him about this disaster for TEN years and turned a BLING eye as we American's were so fat and happy during the boom, that NO BODY said a word about Government matters!

Obama TRIED to REGULATE and the REPUBLICANS shot him down, totally. "To much big Gov"...... "Free enterprize".....

"Obama TRIED to REGULATE and the REPUBLICANS shot him down"

He hired Larry Summers, Tim Geithner, and Gene Sperling. Some of the key players responsible for getting us in this mess.

Obama had his chance. He could have done a series of fireside chats like FDR did. He could have explained to the country what was wrong with the financial industry, how it wrecked our economy, and how we could fix it. He missed his chance. He blew it badly.

With all die respect, Obama did exactly this and was shot down time and again by the Republicans. It was all very public.I am not saying that I endorse either party, just saying.

TryThis posts under a number of pseudonyms: Steve, Mike, Arnold ... it varies from day to day. He is only pretending to be stupid so that everyone thinks all right-wingers are as witless as he is.
