Amador Valley High School receives nearly $13,000 from Safeway schools' program

Amador Valley High School has received nearly $13,000 from Pleasanton-based Safeway, Inc. through that company's annual "10% Goes Back to Schools" program.

This is a nice program. I wonder whether the reporter should have written that the program is for the sports program. Isn't the money being given to the athletic director. Hmm....
