Club 40 students empowered by helping others

A classroom at Lydiksen Elementary was abuzz Wednesday as members of Club 40 gathered to present goodie bags they'd made to Shepherd's Gate for children in its transitional housing. They also collected enough non-perishables for the Alameda County Food Bank to overflow five large barrels.

So proud of these kids at Club 40 representing Lydiksen. What a great way to express charity!
