Any particular reason this family's baby was given so much coverage, versus the many other babies born year-round in P-Town? Is it because the mother is involved with the Downtown?

Don't you think that it's always good news when a healthy baby is born? duh...

News flash....a million babies were also born worldwide. Unless their baby has super powers no on cares.

Congrats Laura and Erik!!

I think it is personal news like this that keeps P-town a wonderful "small" town community....and anyone can have the posting of the birth of their baby in PW - just send a note and picture to them. I see them in the hardcopy often. Just like the anniversaries and marriage notices.
