BREAKING NEWS*** Harmer finally concedes.

Original post made by Chet on Dec 3, 2010

Republican challenger David Harmer reportedly has conceded defeat in his bid to unseat Rep. Jerry McNerney in the 11th Congressional District race.

McNerney's office said Friday afternoon that Harmer called the congressman earlier in the day and congratulated him on winning the Nov. 2 election.

There has been no public comment from the Harmer campaign.

We in District 11 are very proud that Jerry McNerney is going back
to represent us in Washington D.C.

Hey ... it was a great fight and a close election. I know when I think about the "other guy" winning, I cringe. But, isn't that what America's about ... controlled chaos.
