JL Consulting is coordinating a holiday food drive benefiting people in need served by the Alameda County Community Food Bank. Donations of nutritious non-perishable foods can be dropped off from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, until Dec. 10, at 1024 Serpentine Ln., Suite 105. Call 846-1859 or e-mail info@jlcpa.net.

I believe there are several companies that are hosting food drives for Alameda County Community Food Bank.
My company hosts one every year, however, we strive for a new goal each year within our company to collect more weight each year. Employees bring canned goods and packaged food – non-perishable and then we put together a gift basket, sell raffle tickets and give the proceeds to the food bank as well.
Homeowners here in Pleasanton, you probably have the door knob hanger from the Boy Scouts that was posted a few days ago. Saturday is the pick up day. Let’s all give something so everyone has enough to eat this holiday season.
