Obama has gotten so pitiful I almost feel sorry for him....almost!

Original post made by Pablo, Downtown, on Sep 29, 2010

Obama continues to bring the office of the Presidency to new lows as he continues his never ending campaign for acclaim. Unemployment is a record highs and not moving downward at all........who is governing this country? We have a campaigner in chief rather than a leader........truly sad but will get sadder I believe come November.

Hey Pablo,

I guess you miss wars that Bush\Cheney lied about and the US economy that they destroyed...

Our President Obama along with the help of our fine Congressman Jerry McNerney got us all out of the Great Bush/GOP Recession. We again have a growing economy and did not go into a Depression like we would have if we had continued with GOP policies or go back to GOP polices. The 8 years of GOP policies almost doomed us all and we should be thankful to Pres Obama for his strong leadership. We will never be fooled again and return to failure called the GOP.

I find it amazing that libs cannot point out the achievements of Obama, because there have not been any, but rather only talk about Bush. It seems Bush was the only guy who could get anything done. We need a President not a creepster!

How Sad must be experiencing short term memory loss. Was this country on the verge of economic collapse a year ago, or not? Were we engaged in an unjustifiable war in in Iraq until just recently?

I do not consider myself a "lib", but I do manage to give credit where it is due, and it is due here.

A Neighbor,

Yes you are right it is awful to have short term memory loss. I remember when Billy Clinton, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd et al demanded that everyone have a home.........remember that? That is what lit the fuse and it was not Georgie's fault.

Did I say anything about something being "Georgie's fault"? There is plenty of blame to go around for what went wrong in the country over the last 10 years. I was pointing out that something was actually accomplished by the Obama administration, despite How Sad's remarks to the contrary.

Your point escapes me here, Awwwww.

"Was this country on the verge of economic collapse a year ago" What has changed in the last 12 months other than the deficit has grown faster than in any time in history? Unemployment is still high, we owe our souls to the Chinese and the D's want to rasie our taxes to stifle any job and business growth in 2011. Not to mention the debacle of Obamacare that is preventing businesses from hiring, for fear of having to overpay for govt mandated health insurance. Yes, give credit where its due--Obama and his clowns that are now departing their posts like people leaving a theater on fire, have destroyed the economy in record time and are preventing the reinstatement of full employment.
And Chet---you really should quit taking ecstacy. It's making you (more) irrational.

The economic collapse occurred under GW and was handed to the current administration (and there has never been a faster recovery). As for the mortgage issue yes both Republicans and Democrats supported these Libertarian ideas that banks and insurance companies could and would regulate themselves.
Doesn't seem like those Libertarian ideas work do they. Yet the investment bankers prefer no regulations which is why they are pouring money into the Republican races.
Yesterday it was a free mortgage and tomorrow it will be another free offer that looks too good to be true....just you wait and see.
I can't wait for the economy to come back...By the way I have a deal that I would like to talk to you about (you'll make lots of money in record time)! If I could only get all that money coming into Social Security imagine what I could buy for Myself.

Nobody needs to feel sad for Obama. He is doing a great job and has delivered as promised in his campaign. His leadership saved us from the Great Bush/GOP Recession. He is personally proud of what he has done in just 2 years and certainly is not surprised he has charged up the GOPers who wamt the country to return to the proven failed GOP programs. The GOP party of NO again has nothing to offer except miss-information about the major accomplishments of the Democrats in the last 2 years. The GOPers decided long ago not to try to help us in America and just be the party of no and nothing. We will be fooled again and return to GOP policies.
