Note that Bell has conflict of interest in dealings with past, present officials!!!. The City of Pleasanton elected officials in recent years
may also have conflict of interest with developers!!!

Do we know how much our mayor, city manager, etc. make? If not, why not? Since every so often I see info published on how much police and fire make, as a result of the argument that we pay their salaries. I would think that all salaries & compensation for all public employees be made public. You know, health insurance, car allowances, retirement plans, etc. It only seems fair and right.

Maybe PW could print up the salaries and compensation of the public officals (including PUSD) once a year - along with the City Budget? Great way to keep everyone informed and accountable.

Private industry doesn't come close to those salaries.AND, private employees always live with the real possibility of LAYOFFS and cutbacks, and don't get benefits like OUR esteemed employees receive.

Should all the Candidates for Pleasanton mayor and City Council release their State and Federal income tax returns to the Pleasanton Weekly for truly transparent race?
