No doubt, she'll be Obummer's next czar. Maybe in charge of immigration?

She's probably on our Medicare and Social Security without working her 60 quarters (whatever) too. Of course, I've heard of a couple eldery Asians living in our subsidied senior houseing too. But none of my retired senior US friends ""qualify"" ! ! ! ain't american greaaat ! Of course working on reduced furlough pay, missing house payments, but kids denied college assistance, makes citizens wonder, WHY BOTHER WORKING?? Get MORE bennies, if you choose to NOT work. Injustice !

Injustice,

Actually I read the article about her being granted amnesty and they said she showed up for the hearing in a wheelchair because about 6 months ago she had hip replacement surgery. I guess we paid for that one as well. Didn't our wonderful President make 5.5 million last year? Guess he had none left to take care of his auntie,

Cholo,

I do not believe that anyone would deny you access to mental health treatment. As a matter of fact I believe you could pass the hat and come up with the money in about 15 minutes on this blog.

It is awful! Not only was she here illegally, but she is living in PUBLIC housing. The article also talks about the lady being disable...so who is paying her bills?

I am so tired of having to subsidize people who are not even here legally, and then to see them get a way to become legal without problems, and on top of that, be a drain on the system financially speaking.

Obama has enough money, he should give some of that to his aunt, so she can stop being a drain on the taxpayers.

I hope the GOP uses this in 2012 (do it smart though) - of course there was favoritism here. Obama can say what he wants, but the aunt obviously got some help along the way - how does a disabled person on public housing get lawyers? The good ones charge, you know?

I am so happy that she was granted asylum. Hopefully, she has a warm coat and a comfy bed to sleep in! I think that she is a sweetie pie.

I have spent lots of time providing info to folks who need to understand how to access services. America is a great country and there are many decent citizens who understand the importance of helping others in need. Asylum is a blessing!

Incidentally, there are many attorneys that provide pro bono services. There are also many clinics connected to law schools. I've referred lots of illegals to free legal services. I tell them, keep going back, it works! tee hee hee, tee hee hee...

as for rat sh_t, eat it...you BO PLENTY!

You guys are pathetic. If Obama had stepped in in any way to influence these proceedings you'd be screaming bloody murder about separation of powers and the destruction of our constitution. If he doesn't do anything to help, he's letting the sister of his father (a man he hasn't had contact with since his youth) mooch off our government. Yeah, I hope the GOP uses this in 2012...it'll show just how desperate and without any constructive ideas they are...

As for relatives of the president costing the government tons of money, in the interest of equal time, let's take a look at Neil Bush, son of GHWBush and brother of George W Bush. He ran Silverado savings & loan into the ground in the late 80s costing the government 1.3 billion in a bailout (there goes another one of those GOP bailouts). But, you know, Obama's welfare aunt is going to bankrupt medicare...*sigh*

Just another low life gaming the system with the help of willing accomplices in the govt. It's great for those who benefit (unless you have any pride or a conscience) and bad for those who work to support the parasites.
