A very selective four minutes, don't you think? That's the GOP problem - they keep thinking their argument summarizes the whole debate. Well, it doesn't. There is another side, and that side is tired of the infantile "my way or no way" attitude of the right, and ready for the proposed reform.
P.S. You sure seem to spend a lot of time digging up and posting attacks. I wonder why? I mean that sincerely.

Pleasanton Mom are you talking about how conservatives look at all of our problems. You parse all our problems to nearly nothing and blame others ineffectiveness. It is easy to be handed your opinion when a 7 hour reality can be condensed to 4 minutes. It is also how conservatives have been able to make so many wrong turns an pretend we've been going the RIGHT direction.

You have little integrity to tout such pathetically parsed versions of reality and history.

Alternate viewpoint: Web Link

Say what you will about the validity of using a Jon Stewart clip, he makes some good points.

Pleasanton Mom's clip was put together by the Heritage Foundation, a very conservative foundation pushing a one sided agenda, who has been documented pushing insurance company funded research as "neutral."

I can understand a partisan like Pleasanton Mom, who has no inclination to seek common ground or truth, consuming packaged messages like this as if she was a crack addict. Unfortunately, when she pushes this crack to others they get addicted before they realize they've lost their ability to think and reason.

My primary concern about Health Care is that extra $$$$$$ be put aside to provide FREE HEALTH CARE to "Illegals". They work hard and are just as deserving as the "legals".

now, get off you high horse sharon...that or give it a good flush!

The staged and scripted "we're SO close", "we're SO close", over and over, was so after Dems would say, 'SEE' WE were almost there, but they said NO!....SO obvious. It doesn't matter if there are 6, or 8 or 12 points in agreement.....the point they miss is there are about 1,000 pages of 'junk' that has to come OUT !! THEN we'll be close, with our 12 points of agreement.
Regardless of the outcome, pass or fail, the MILLIONS of FAMILIES that have begged for OBAMA and the DEM CONGRESS to FOCUS on JOBS, JOBS, JOBS.....which being totally tone deaf, they refuse to focus on, no matter how many or how loud the cries. INSTEAD OBAMA keeps announcing $$ 100s of million of $$ to his DONORS who say they will soon start SOLAR companies in the next year or two...like BrightSource and Solyndra.....instead of JOBS in the next month of two before 100s of thousands more families COLLAPSE.

I think it's time to consider that advancing the Government Takeover of 1/6th of our economy (Healthcare) advances the Progressives' Agenda to destroy Capitalism and usher in socialism.

Socialism NEVER works for the people. It ONLY works for the Elites in control. The Democrat Party is serving as the Marxists' (Progressives) Useful Idiots.

You think HMOs suck now? Just wait till the Government runs their budget-grade HMO. You think insurance is expensive now? Just wait till it's "free".

Creating jobs, jobs, jobs does not advance the Progressive Agenda. Besides, Government CANNOT create jobs. Only the Free Market can do that.
