Now that I'm safe, I'm pro-choice.

Oh, boy! A live demonstration of the "forced birth" nutters. That should be widely entertaining.

Thanks to Gunslinger for living proof of why pro-choice is so important.

Too far away to attend. I still support the outcome of this very important decision.

I don't think that this law will be reversed.

Go GALS GO!

Pro-choice is nothing more than selfishness with no regard for the sanctity of life! In a society with morality is relative, many are diluted into thinking this is about women's rights when it is not...
When one's moral compass is broken or lost often due to the prevalent ideas of relativism, people decide what is best for themselves disregarding the larger question of what is best for the baby or society as a whole...

There are many reasons for abortion -- not just selfish and weird ones and not just rape/incest. I've known women who desperately wanted a baby but were carrying one with a fatal defect. A young woman breaking up with the boyfriend because she was confused about her sexuality (she is now gay, no kids -- do the christian right/pro lifers really want her raising a child?). A college student in an abusive relationship, choosing a first trimester abortion so she could safely leave him. These were real situations. Of course there are abuses but the reality is complex.
