Actually there are many greater issues than climate change - including academic integrity and fraud. But perhaps we can figure that out after spending a few billion dollars first.

You must be kidding? The state is bankrupt and global warming is a fraud so Arnold and our elected officials focus on a non problem when Rome or in this case California is burning. Come on let's focus on real issues.

So if you drill through these reports, you find the source of the data used in these reports is the IPCC, the group which is in the process of being completely discredited for fraudulently manipulating climate data.
In fiscal year 2007-08 CARB got $722 million for 1172 employees. In fiscal year 2008-09 they got $650 million for 1272 employees, and in fiscal year 2009-10, the CA legislature and governor have fired over 8500 teachers in the state in order to give $857 million to fund CARB. The equivalent amount of money that would pay for these teachers jobs to be saved has been wasted in funding CARB to come up with 'green' programs which increase the cost of almost everything you buy.
This is the real impact of global warming fraud. Loss of jobs, waste of taxpayer dollars of phony green programs, and increased cost of living for all of us.
CARB is the same gang that came up with MTBE for our gasoline. That fiasco ruined car engines and polluted ground water with a whole new category of pollution.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT.
Vote out corruption.
Vote for fiscal responsibility.

Contact Gov Arnold and the legislature now, tell them to de-fund CARB and use our money responsibly, or better yet, give it back to us.

Cholo, you drinking the man-made global warming Kool-Aid? Based on your other posts, I thought you were smarter than that.
You do know it's a money-grabbing scam, right? Or are you just playing coy again?

Even if it is man-made, wouldn't the best thing to save us is to fund education so we get the smart kids of the future with brilliant ideas where they need to be? Instead, we decide that the state of CA alone can save the planet because we are in such a strong position. Yes, there was a time that the country would looks towards CA, now we just look like a bunch of broke loonies and the rest of the country is wondering how much they are going to have to pay to bail California out.

Some of our most magnificent sights like ocean cliffs, Yellowstone wonders, the massive Grand Canyon, etc. etc. etc. are all results of "warmings" in earth's past. That's perfectly natural. Life adapts. It's just that the sierra club wasn't there during earlier events to CREATE a CRISIS our of earth's natural movements.
Stop the theft of our children's future. Deal with reality. What arrogance to think all of us little ants are going to fight mother nature. Live with a bit of caution and concern, but DO live. Only fools would print new money for our children to make good on...because of a few zealots stuck in the past.
Be thankful for past glaciers when 'warming' created the beauty of Half Dome. Didn't these zealots pay attention when they were in elementary school. Get over it ! Adapt. That's the role of humans !
Go plant a tree ! Anybody that was or is genuinly concerned would have been fighting for more carbon-free nuclear plants, instead making us use dirty coal-fired plants during these recent 'boom' decades. Such hypocrites! Like the people that caused that, and poisoned our ground water with MTBE, are preaching how to fix it ! I think not.

I forgive Judy for her angry outbursts. I hope that she will someday find inner peace.

Until then, PLEASE try to find a way to chill and be respectful of other posters.

You had better adapt to the reality that your children and your grandchildren and your great grandchildren will be paying through the nose for what "W" did to our country. I guess because it's so PC to whine, that's why you do it.
