Deadline today for Cards for Troops

Congressman Jerry McNerney (D-Pleasanton) hosts the third annual Holiday Cards for Our Troops program. Residents are encouraged to drop off cards by Dec. 2 for service members recovering from injuries and stationed away from their families this holiday season. Cards may be dropped of at 5776 Stoneridge Mall Road, Ste. 175. For details, call 737-0727.

Thank you Mr McNerney for doing this for our wounded warriors. I know this will brighten their day. Being in the hospital on Christmas is hard for anyone, but for our troops, it is much more difficult.
