Obama - hater of America - has a secret plan

Original post made by poster boy, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Sep 27, 2009

So ever since Obama got elected, I've been hearing that he hates America and Americans (especially white ones) and wants to destroy it all. That's why he got himself elected leader, so he can tear down everything we've built for 230 years and replace it with ACORN. At first I thought it was the insane ramblings of the wingnut fringe, but I've recently come across a secret document that details Obama's master plan to destroy us all...I'm putting myself at great risk for exposing the truth on something as public as the Pleasanton Town Square Forums, so please bear with me as a paraphrase the highlights of his plan.

* Upon getting elected, he plans to push through congress on a reconciliation vote in the senate (with only 53 votes...hardly bipartisan) the largest tax cut in the nation's history. 1.8 Trillion dollars over 10 years. 98% of the cuts will be targetted to the top 2% of the nation's wealthy.

* He plans to ignore the warnings of his predecesors that a terror group known as Al Qaeda is intent on attacking our nation and instead will focus his energies on building a missile defense shield in eastern europe.

* He plans on going for a month-long vacation during which time our intelligence services will record some of the heaviest activity among terror groups. Upon learning of this, he will jokingly tell his advisors that they had their CYA (Check your a**) moment and go back to clearing brush on his ranch (that he'll sell as soon as he leaves office and move back to the burbs when his cowboy persona is no longer needed).

* He will be at a school reading to school kids (indoctrinating them) as the nation comes under attack. He will continue to read to them. For 18 more minutes. Before doing anything. Afterwards he'll fly aimlessly around the country on Air Force One while his Vice President issues orders from the White House.

* He will capitalize on the rallying support of the american people to invade a country that had nothing to do with the terror attacks. He will promise a quick entry and exit but will eventually get us bogged down in a costly war that ends up costing over 3 trillion dollars over 8 years.

* He will silence any decent by declaring that you're either with him or the terrorists and putting out politically supportive members of the media to declare it treason to attack the president in a time of war.

* He will institute a program of roving wiretaps without need of a search warrant. He will maintain that in a time of war anyone can be held without reason for as long as the government deems necessary.

* He will get reelected.

* He will attempt to privatize social security by replacing it with a system of personal savings accounts.

* He will go and have birthday cake with John Mccain while an entire city floods following a hurricane. His policy of the past 5 years of putting unqualified political cronies in charge of various government agencies will finally pay off when the government relief efforts are a bigger disaster than the hurricane that preceded them. He will point to this as a sign that government doesn't work.

* He will mark 6 years since he declared the man behind the terror attacks as wanted dead or alive and the man still lives.

* He will push through an expansion of Medicare in the form of a drug benefit that mostly funnels billions of dollars of subsidies to pharmaceutical giants and leaves a donut hole of coverage to millions of americans. This will cost the government an extra several hundred billion dollars over the next few years with no offsets to keep the budget deficit from growing.

* His final year in office he will oversee a massive financial crisis brought on by years of corporate deregulation and lack of oversight. He will see GM and Chrysler teeter on the verge of bankruptcy.

* He will see the banking system come close to complete collapse. He will see two major investment firms collapse, see a major insurance giant require a 180 billion dollar infusion of cash, and overall see a 17.3 trillion dollar lifeline thrown to the entire banking sector to keep it afloat.

* He will see his final budget come in with a 1.3 trillion dollar deficit. Over the course of his 8 years off office, he will see the national debt nearly double...from 5.5 trillion to over 11 trillion. Those tax cuts in his first year in office finally showing their dividends...

* Having inherited a nation at peace, enjoying 400 Billion dollar surpluses, a paying down of the national debt for the first time in 30 years, and 7 years of economic expansion, he turns over to the next president a country fighting 2 wars, a crumbling infrastructure, mired in debt, with a financial system on the verge of collapse.

Yes. This is very frightening stuff people. We must do our best to keep this from happening. We must stop this man, Barack Obama, HATER OF AMERICA from letting this come to pass.

Are you sure this is from 'poster boy' and not 'Cholo'? Either way, take a pill and get off your feet.

Your cutting and pasting skills are formidable. Why don't you just post the dailykos link, so we don't use up the entire internet on this pablum?
Amusing thing is that the libtards have had control of Congress and the White House for the better part of a year and have gotten nothing significant done, and are now looking at increasing polling numbers for GOP candidates across the country. I know it hurts, it'll be OK.

JimF,

We don't all spend our days lurking kos and copying/pasting from freepers.com, so quit assuming everyone else does. I know it's hard for you to believe that people have original thoughts, since you seem to do nothing but participate in on the wingnut echo chamber, so maybe spend a little less time having glenn and rush and fauxnews tell you what to think/say/do...

As for the "increasing poll numbers" of the GOP, yeah, I'm sweating bullets. The latest polls show the congressional GOP with a 17% approval rating and the overall GOP ratings at 22%. That compares to 38% and 40% respectively for the Dems. The Dems are panicked...they're only twice as popular as the GOP...yikes!

Once again, JimF, EPIC FAIL! Time to tune in to hannity to formulate a response...

Not to worry poster boy---the vast right wing conspiracy is back, according to Wild Bill. You'll now have a mythical entity to blame your failed social experiments on.

SteveP,
You mean as opposed to the "librul media"?

As for failed social experiments go, we only have reagan/bush(s) to blame for the results of 30 years of massive deregulation and completely turning the tax structure on its head. The "right-wing conspiracy" in this case has been republican economic and social policy since 1981...most notably, the national debt going from 1.5 trillion when reagan took office to 11.5 trillion when Bush 2 left (it'd be higher if that one democrat clinton hadn't lowered it from 8 trillion to 5.5 trillion in the 90s...) But sure...latch on to a sound bite from a clinton interview (note: he's no longer president...move on).

"We don't all spend our days lurking kos and copying/pasting from freepers.com, so quit assuming everyone else does"

Just a few things about this line, amusing that you respond in the plural PB, I have accused no one of ctrl-c ctrl-v from dailykos, except you. The clever little tidbits you bring over and repost from libtard blogs really aren't funny to anyone except fans of those blogs.

But maybe it's more than 1 of you posting as PB? If we look at kos, we learn that what they say about a million monkeys banging on typewriters eventually producing the works of Shakespeare is pretty accurate, everything happens faster on the internet

So when I say that the GOP candidate poll numbers are increasing PB, you respond with Congressional approval numbers, apples and oranges.

And you always attack my post as lightweight, but you provide poll numbers and percentages without showing the source, and I am failing?

JimF01,
First off, read my post again. I gave both numbers for the Congressional GOP (17%) AND the entire GOP as a whole (22%). Apples vs. apples, oranges vs. oranges. FAIL 1.

The poll is from Research 2000. It might burn your eyes to read that it's from Kos, but you'll survive...

Web Link

Now off to freepers to copy/paste your generic "research 2000 can't be trusted, try rasmussen" post...

And like I said before, because you spend your life lurking and copying and trolling instead of coming up with original thoughts, don't assume everyone else does. I know it must've twisted your brain 50 different ways to think that someone actually cranked out this post in about 15 minutes, given the ammunition Bush left in his wake, but hang in there, turn off the rightwing noise machine and you might squeeze out an original nugget or two eventually yourself...

And in essence that's your response to everything I post. You can never attack the substance of what I say so you fall back to imaginary rants of ctrl-c/v-ing going on out there.

So since you seem to have difficulty understanding the written word, I'll explain the point of my rant. Many posters on this site and elsewhere go off on rants about how Obama hates this country and wants to destroy it and its institutions. That he's a marxist, fascist, socialist, etc... I took this meme, flipped it on its head, attributed to him all the things Bush did during his 8 years and used this as an illustration that if Obama hates our country, then Bush must DESPISE it. Considering a lot of people who rant about how much Obama hates this country also supported Bush for 8 years, I'm hoping it'll drive the point home a little bit. I hope this explanation helps. (Note: I copied it from daily kos.)

Actually all I needed was "it's from Kos"..."I'll explain the point of my rant"..."I copied it from daily kos"

Gee thanks for the explanation, I was totally mystified! I have only been posting on public forums for a few days now and I had never experienced sarcasm

Oh, wait, you are still being sarcastic, or no? Oh man, you really have me guessing

JimF, And yet another substanceless response. Nice. Have you posted anything of substance on here? In the few weeks I've been posting on this forum, I have tangled with you quite a bit and it usually just ends up reaching a point where you run out of fluff. Enjoy the rest of your day floating around on the breeze...

Since you seem to have difficulty understanding the written word, I'll explain the point of my rant. You seem to think sarcastic unhinged rants about Bush are funny, so took your meme and flipped it on you.
Bush is no longer an elected official in this country, but you cannot get over it, just like the pablum puking morons on kos.

I tried to change the topic to something interesting, like how the Dem candidate numbers are going down and GOP are rising.
Candidates, not those already in office, and not those who already termed out of the US Presidency who are now retired.
So I will challenge you, continue posting in here without a single Bush mention for 1 whole week. Difficulty factor: naming Rove, Cheney or even Condoleeza Rice is prohibited.

JimF01,
I love how in a thread where you criticize me for essentially lifting my comments for DKos or wherever, you start off a response by directly lifting one of my lines from an earlier post. "Since you seem to have difficulty understanding the written word, I'll explain the point of my rant." Hilarious. Thanks for proving my point on 2 fronts; 1, that you can't form an original thought and 2) you criticize other people for doing something you have a habit of doing yourself.

As for my original post. It wasn't about Bush at all, rather it was about Obama. The entire point, once again, was not to attack Bush and his administration (it's been done to death, literally), rather it was to highlight the ridiculousness of people who claim Obama hates America and wants to see it destroyed. If Obama does even 1/10th of what Bush had done, then sure I can see the point of the argument that he hates America, but the fact that the very people who claim that Obama hates America are most often the same people who still support the policies of the Bush administration and supported all the things he did, it undermines the entire effort. The point of the post was to point out this inconsistency.

Secondly, my original post is not sarcasm, rather it is called irony. This is a literary device I'm sure you're not too familiar with since you seem able to watch foxnews and listen to hannity with a straight face. Irony is undermining the substance of an argument (Obama hates america and wants to destroy it) and applying that argument to absurd results (in other words, take the record of the bush administration and credit it as the future plans of Obama, this turning the argument on its head). Kierkegaard utilized irony often by taking the principles of dialectical materialism and applying them to make absurd arguments that reached ridiculous and contradictory conclusions, thus undermining the foundations of dialectical materialism. And no, i don't have to link to a website that points this out because I went to college, learned this on my own, actually read the texts involved, and earned my degree.

So I accept with glee your challenge to not mention Bush, Cheney, Condie for the next week. Considering I haven't mentioned him prior to this post, it won't be that hard. In response, I challenge you to challenge anyone who makes the assertion on this forum that Obama is intentionally trying to weaken or destroy this country because he hates it. You may disagree with the policies he's advancing, but to claim he's doing it in order to destroy our nation is both untrue and insulting, both to the president and to every american.

JimF01,

Hilarious. You're my biggest fan! I'm so flattered....Okay, so maybe I have mentioned him a time or two, but only to admire him. Well not really. We come not to praise Caesar, but to bury him.

So I can understand why you wouldn't want me to refer to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named after the hell he put us all through for 8 years, so if a week of silence on the matter is what you need to cope with the pain, I'll be happy to oblige. I'll also try to limit my references to Lucius Malfoy, Wormtail, and Beatrix Lestrange as much as I can.

But in return, I expect you to help in tamping down all this "Obama hates America and wants to destroy it" nonsense...deal?
