Check out 1063 hopkins way
Kind of makes everyones point I guess. A PUSD employee is living in a $1,220,000 dollar home............Wow!
A PUSD employee who earns over $200K per year, gets $12K a year in car allowances, gets a $10K bonus per year for coming to work, gets $5K a year for a life insurance policy and used a $200K interest free loan from PUSD towards buying this house.
I am almost afraid to ask this question but if Casey retires from his job here in Pleasanton are we on the hook for his retirement like we are for all of these other people who worked here a few years retired and moved out of the area? Someone please tell me we do not have to pay.
Yes, we are on the hook.
This is really creepy. You guys know where he lives? How much more crazy is this going to get?
seriously, how much crazier can it get? Good question!
maybe he wants to pay back what he owes PUSD so he can help the kids!!!
Casey's home address is a matter of public record.
Maybe he realizes this community is going down the toilet!!!
Well another great hiring decision. We need to hire a young one next year and sign them to a long term contract so we can get more than 3 years out of them before they retire and milk us for the rest of their lives.
PUSD should just go file for bankruptcy and rid themselves of all these ridiculous contracts. It's a *$'d up with to use our hard-earned money. This is BS! That money should be going to our children's education.
They purchased another home! Casey's agent is from Oakley so assume they are moving to that area. At least they are using a Pleasanton agent on their way out...nope.
Moving to Oakley?
Let's see, he came from the coastal backwaters of Watsonville, a poor performing district. No he's heading north, to another 2nd rate system. Goodbye Dr. Casey, and don't let the door kick your tail on the way out!
No, how about another dozen or so overpaid administrators - all those making over $200,000 per year, with the sweet perk package - time for you to leave too!!
Please READ up on the LAW as it applied to harrasement, threats and stalking on the internet. Your walking a fine line here folks. All posters identity and location can be traced via web logs.
Sorry about that - the two NOs above should be NOW. I've got a sticky W key.
As we discuss our dislike of our Superintendent as a community, and as we discuss public information, your point is?
No one has threatened, harassed, or stalked anyone on this forum. To the contrary...we don't want anything to do with him and can't wait for him to go! He is our employee afterall...
BTB,the good Dr. negotiated an employment contract calling for special residence financing the we, the TAXPAYERS, payed for. It's all part of the PUBLIC RECORD.
Hmmm, could BTB be Dr. Casey? LOL :)
Yes, I am Dr. Casey! Last time I checked I was in Law Enforcement.
The Code of Civil Procedure law on Civil Harassment Orders (Section 527.6) defines harassment as:
a credible threat of violence; or
a knowing and willful course of conduct directed at a specific person that seriously alarms, annoys, or harasses the person, and that serves no legitimate purpose.
BackTheBadge, you are kind of creepy.
Where were you when posters were making false and harrassing comments to other posters?
Or when posts providing the home address of a board member were made?
Only in the last day, coincidentally when Dr. Casey has become a topic on the blogs, have you decided to speak up.
The Pleasanton Weekly staff monitor the blogs. They have not removed any postings, so your suggestion that posts about Dr. Casey could be a violation of civil code is an attempt to discourage discussion, but has no legal standing and never did.
What serves no legitimate purpose is your efforts to use scare tactics to suppress freedom of speech.
What BTB isn't telling us... Just go look up the code he's poorly paraphrasing from: Web Link
(3) "Course of conduct" is a pattern of conduct composed of a
series of acts over a period of time, however short, evidencing a
continuity of purpose, including following or stalking an individual,
making harassing telephone calls to an individual, or sending
harassing correspondence to an individual by any means, including,
but not limited to, the use of public or private mails, interoffice
mail, fax, or computer e-mail. Constitutionally protected activity is
not included within the meaning of "course of conduct."
Note the last line, "Constitutionally protected activity is not included..."
Note also that this is Code of Civil Procedure. It defines procedure in the courts. So the code cited above is applied only after it has been found in a court of law that someone is being harassed.
It seems to me that BTB doesn't know how to tell the difference between true harassment and a bunch of people expressing their opinions on an Internet forum.
It seems to me that BTB doesn't want to distinguish between true harassment and a bunch of people expressing their opinions on an Internet forum.
BTB is selective quoting code to try to scare people from exercising their freedom of speech.
Thanks Stacey for providing the actual code via link.
Nobody is going to harm anyone. If they didn't take out Henry Germain they aren't going to throw their lives away for you being bad at your job Doc. Don't pay it any mind and let people vent. Better than calling you on the phone in the middle of the night right? Public figures get ridiculed by the public.
Don't miss out on the discussion!
