To Ms Williams...

Thank you for your services to the youth of Pleasanton over the years. And thank you for your interesting letter about your history of life in Pleasanton over the years.

I hope that you will place your letter in the archives of the Pleasanton Historical Society.

Enjoy your retirement!

I have had the pleasure of working with Sherry and also
calling her my friend! Sherry is the kind of teacher all teachers
aspire to be, warm, caring, always putting her students first!
A job well done Sherry, enjoy your retirement with your family
and friends.

I had the pleasure of having Mrs. W as my 2nd grade teacher at Fairlands and two of my three kids have had the pleasure of having her at Donlon. I am proud that my youngest was able to get her for kindergarten before she retires. It is with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to Mrs. W as we wish her well in her retirement but know that the PUSD is out one fantastic teacher.

Mrs. Williams thank you for all you have done for my family, myself and all the students of the PUSD.

All the best!!!

JB-

My eldest had the pleasure of having Sherry Williams as her very first elementary school teacher- She gave her a great foundation and lots of confidence- she provided a very warm, gentle and caring environment - especially for a child like mine, who was quite shy and timid. Best wishes to you and thank you for your devotion!

Thank you and your mother, my children went to Alisal, I do remember the wonderfull times we all enjoyed during the school years. My daughter Carmella is now a teacher and reading Specialist in San Lorenzo. I can't help but think that from the early years she made that choice. God Bless

Hi Sherry, what a great career for a great person. You have always been so smart, hardworking and gracious in every thing you have done (and will continue to do). Your personal history was very nostalgic (and accurate!) as I shared many of those same teachers and experiences with you. I wish you the very best and look forward to seeing you again at the Amador High class of 1965 reunion in Septmember.

Sincerely,
Your 7th grade boyfriend
Larry Annis
