UPDATE: First 2 Bay Area swine flu cases confirmed; governor declares state of emergency

Health officials Tuesday afternoon have confirmed two cases of swine flu in Marin County, which has sickened at least 13 other Californians and prompted the governor to declare a state of emergency. The two confirmed cases in Marin County are the first in the Bay Area.

Let's see. Hmmmm. The Governor declares a 'state of emergency' because of swine flu.

I know... Let's all get together on Main Street next Wed. night and see how that goes...!

I heard from a nurse at valley care that there is a possible swine flu case there.

The Contra Costa County Health Department confirmed a San Ramon (Coyote Creek Elementary School) student has tested positive for the Swine Influenza (H1N1 Virus).
