Heavenly Vistas
This exhibit features photography with encaustic wax painting and encaustic landscape paintings from contemporary California artists Thea Schrack and Paula Wenzl Bellacera. Xmas Trees for Wishes
Support the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation by purchasing a tree from Nov. 27 to Dec. 22 at Alpine Christmas Trees, 6407 Tassajara Road, Dublin. Proceeds will help grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
American Cancer Society Discovery Shop
The American Cancer Society Discovery Shop Holiday Store, 1987 F Santa Rita Road, is open. It features wreaths, trees, ornaments, dishes, decorator items, music, books and clothing. All proceeds go to fund research, and patient services.
Job's Daughters Bethel No.14
This group meets at 7 p.m., on the second and fourth Monday of every month, at Pleasanton Masonic Lodge, 3370 Hopyard Rd. The group is for girls between the ages of 10 and 20 years old who have a Masonic relationship. It teaches the girls team work, leadership and public speaking. Call 683-5401.
Food Pantry at Valley Bible Church
The Food Pantry at Valley Bible Church, 7106 Johnson Drive, has an open pantry from 6 to 8:30 p.m. It can be reached from Wheels route 3. It will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, but will be open the Sunday before the holidays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 22, Dec. 20 and 27. Cinderella
Cinderella is a fun-filled version of a "fabulously fractured" fairy tale. The audience will be invited to cheer, clap and shout "Presto!" to transform Cinderella for the ball.
