New 177-unit, 4-story apartment complex OK'd

The Pleasanton City Council has approved a developer's plan to build an apartment complex on West Las Positas Boulevard across from Hart Middle School with 177 units and buildings as high as four stories on the 6-acre site.

Of course it was approved! Takes over 4 months to get plans approved for a home remodel and just over 4 weeks for this 177 unit complex to get plan approval.
Favoritism for these think?
Build 177 apartments on a street that is sinking already, add more kids to overcrowded schools, dole out water we don't have. Just what Pleasanton needs.
I am so tired of hearing Mr Mayor say, but we have to because the lawsuit made us! He uses that excuse every time this issue comes up. Blame it on the lawsuit!
Those of you in Parkside who are having settling problems, just wait till the earth movers start rolling in and shaking things up.
