The sanitization of these comment threads lean preculiarly toward
the idea that there aren't any bad cops in pleasanton. Its just the
ugly truth. But watch how the community stands behind its Police Department when a Citizens Police Review Board is set into place.
Let the check and balances be real; and not some desk in a broom closet. The community has a right to know whos policing them. And
if the city government rejects alligations or the like; then a C.P.R.B. should have a say as to whats truthful and whats not. Yes Pleasanton you need it. Law Enforcment doesn't like oversight.
It gives them a tummy-ache. But its warrented.

I count one a week, but the answer is probably as long as you keep reading them.

And charges being dropped by the DA is probably an actual story.

Keep writing about Integrity Concerns with the Police Glenn! The more you write the more people will acknowledge and appreciate good cops and leverage the one tool we as a community have to hold Bad Cops accountable; the Personnel Complaint Form. Follow the Police' protocol that is documented on their website and when a cop violates your rights or the rights of someone you know, encourage them to follow the protocol, and make sure you complete the form. You HAVE to be admonished and complete the form so the complaint stays in the Officers file for 5 years and abusive behavior patterns become very obvious. Good luck to us all.
