kyle. Why do you ask? When council approved the construction of the house you live in, was there an expectation for you to open it to the public for picnics in the backyard? I'm interested to hear the explanation for your question.

Look at the date of this article! What's going on?

You are right about the date! This is not the first time the Editor seeds these posts with really out-of-date events. It is happening often. Appears his staff does not influence his impulsiveness to stop this kind of thing, which takes people aback. The staff must be afraid to offend him.

Why does he do this? Does he feel the current threads don't have enough activity to draw readers and he has a compulsion to try to feed more into the fray? Witness that he put this out on the weekend of the most historic election in history on a national level, and a very contentious election at the local level and state level. What's up with him?

Anyone can view any old article and post a comment to it thereby starting a new thread. It is very confusing.

So, you are saying the software allows anyone to re-post an old article and it appears under the name of the editor, who actually did not re-post it? If so, then I apologize to the editor.

This sort of thing has got to stop. It not only confuses people, but it is certainly a put-off.
