'Boardinghouse' full of laughs

Boardinghouse resident Martha, portrayed by Anne Pearson, and Tweeny, the hired help, played by Jeanne Lane, star in the Pleasanton Senior Players production of "The Boardinghouse," directed by Shirley Maltby.

The story of the Home Sweet Home Boardinghouse, where life is anything but normal, will be presented Oct. 1-3 at the Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Blvd. Friday's performance begins at 7 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday performances are at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $9-$11 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Call 931-5365.
