Robbery suspect arrested at home

A Pleasanton man has been charged with robbery and battery after an incident in the 400 block of Tawny Drive.

"About 1:40 a.m. July 11, we got a call of a robbery that had just occurred. Officers met with the victims and a suspect was named," Pleasanton Sgt. Jim Knox said. "Pleasanton officers responded to the residence of the suspect and located him there. He was identified by the victims and placed under arrest."

Knox said cash and a wallet were taken.

Ashar Khan, 21, of Pleasanton has been charged; Knox said the incident remains under investigation.
