Members of The Livermore-Amador Genealogical Society were saddened to learn of the passing of fellow member Bill. He is well remembered for his expert advice about family history research in Slavic countries, as documented in our Society's quarterly journal, The Roots Tracer, for November 2009. Bill’s article, "A Three-year Wait, but It Was Worth It, is published on our Web site. See http://www.l-ags.org/tracer/vol_29_4.pdf and click to page 7. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Bill's family. Patrick M. Lofft Editor, The Roots Tracer
This is my dad's photo. I submitted it with the obituary, but for some reason the picture is not displaying on the digital obituary
We so enjoyed our many years of association with Bill and Penny. We met them at Church of the Ascencion in the late 60s. Our latest venture was a trip to Mexico with them in 2009. Bill was a very kind and caring man who loved family and friends. We admired his interest in civic affairs which he persued very dilligently especially on the national level. He was very perceptive and discerning which made him an interesting traveling companion. We will miss Bill. Our prayers go out to th family. John and Suzanne
