Daisy Roberson, 100 a 10-year resident of Pleasanton died January 24, 2012. She moved to the Bay Area from Kansas City Missouri in the mid 1900's and lived in Fremont for over 40 years until moving to Pleasanton. Daisy was a homemaker and married to Sturgeon Roberson for nearly 50 years before he passed away in 1987. Daisy was most known for her love of sewing and baking. She was one of 11 children, 3rd to the oldest and helped the family raise the younger kids, cook and work on the farm in Kansas City in her youth. She was a giving, loving woman and welcomed friends and family into her home at anytime of day or night. Prior to her passing, we were a 5-generation group including her daughter, grand daughters, great grandchildren and great, great grand daughter, nearly 2 years old.
