Arleen was one of my best friends in Pleasanton for about 20 years. We had coffee or lunch every week and attended events of mutual interest often. We also met as couples on many occasions. Arleen was a lovely, compassionate, caring human being and family was always her highest priority. We moved to the desert 6 years ago so we did not see each other as much, but did talk often. We were able to see her about 2 weeks before she passed on our way back from Portland, Oregon. All of the years that I have known her she has had continuous health issues. During those times I/we never once heard her complain! She will be missed terribly. I was very fortunate to have been able to attend her funeral service in Pleasanton.
