Pleasanton man prepares to sue city over leaked confidential information
Two others face misdemeanor charges in case

A custody battle involving a Pleasanton man has led to criminal charges against an Alameda County deputy sheriff and a San Ramon attorney and an investigation involving a Pleasanton police officer.
Brian Lancaster has filed a claim against the city of Pleasanton asking for in excess of $1 million. Lancaster said the actions of the three led to him losing his job and custody of his kids. Three misdemeanor charges have already been filed against Deputy Ryan Silcocks and Lesley Regina, a San Ramon family law attorney.
Silcocks "was charged and is on administrative leave," said Alameda County Sheriff's Spokesman J.D. Nelson. He said the charges involve "inappropriate accessing information off a computer and providing that information."
The deputy allegedly entered a court building after hours on two occasions, accessed documents, and forwarded them to Regina, whom he was dating. Regina, who represents Lancaster's ex-wife, Lisa Secord, who lives in Washington state, has been charged with one count of knowingly receiving records that she was not authorized to possess.
Lancaster said the Pleasanton police are conducting an investigation into the actions of Officer Tim Martens.
"I allege the same thing was done between Tim Marten and my ex-wife," Lancaster said. He said Martens, who was in communication with Secord, later arrested him on a drug possession charge, then forwarded confidential information to be used in the custody case.
"It says right on the stuff, 'This is confidential information, do not share with anybody,'" Lancaster said.
Pleasanton City Attorney Jonathan Lowell confirms a claim has been filed.
"We are investigating it," Lowell said. He said he couldn't comment further on an active case.
No charges have been filed against Martens; Silcocks and Regina are set to be arraigned July 9 on the misdemeanor charges.

We may be unaware of a spouses violent past or addictions due to lies and deception. All bets are off when the safety of our children is at stake. Funny how Lancaster points the finger when he has a pending drug case. Blaming everyone except himself, sounds like a pattern of denial for his own immoral and illegal actions. I'm sure he'd still have a job if he was a normal law abiding citizen. Nobody forced him to break the law. Kudos for exposing this worm and shame on the media for portraying him as a victim!

The alleged corruption involving local law enforcement officers is certainly doing a fine job in destroying the community's faith in their police departments.

But let's not forget what has already been pointed out -- this jerk was arrested on a drug charge. Mr. Upstanding Citizen he is not.

You can not just start pulling people's confidential files because you want to. If they really felt that his doings were so severe that he shold lose custody of his children, they would have done this the legal way and had the courts make that ruling with legally gathered information. I am sure all information that they gathered illegaly will now be thrown out. Those poor children are now dealing with a mother and father that broke the law. Even though the father has obviously been involved in some illegal behavior, he still has every right to sue. The mother has also been involved in illegal behavior now so they are no better than one another.

But you all know they will protect their own and sweep this under the table. He'll be back to work in no time. Nothing ever happens to these guys when they break the law! They should be held accountable just like the regular citizens! I'm glad he's exposed and we hope the Sheriff fires him, and he looses his retirement.
We don't need Police like this! He gives the police a bad name not the mention a weak Sheriff if he turns his head. Take him off the force and off paid leave now!

This is terrible. Children need their fathers and this x has gone to disgusting lengths to try and manipulate every possible system that she can find. What she does not realize is that she is digging herself a huge hole which is now way to deep for her to get out of. Exs should never use their hatred twords a failed relationship to ensure that their children resent their father/mother. The children here will grow up and be able to make their own decisions...the sad part is they are having to live in this misery untill the truth comes out. Shame on you...the mother and also the officers and laywer who participated in making sure two boys have no contact with a father that WANTS to be a father...what have you all done?

What's new? Thank goodness for people like Mr. Lancaster who calls them out on their crimes. Maybe these public servants will start to obey the laws they have sworn to uphold, but I doubt it. They likely will continue to talk obsessively about their retirement at age 50, ignore real crime, and engage in illegal behavior. Typical cops and crooked lawyers.

That should take care of the problem with rouge cops, drunk on their power, abusing law abiding citizens and violating the law they have sworn to uphold. Working the graveyard shift at 7/11 in a bad neighborhood is stressful. Claiming to be so stressed out by writing tickets for turning left on Foothill from Castlewood before 8 AM or writing tickets to adults who are in possession of marijuana (it's LEGAL in California) is ridiculous. At least this is a new one. When one criticizes the generous pensions of firefighters, you get the response "you are not in shape enough to do the job and I am hero, I deserve."

The folks bad mouthing the cops/lawyer have probably been arrested or ticketed at some point in their lives, but would be the first ones to scream for their help if in trouble.

Less helping people, more force and civil rights violations... Since this public announcement at our City Council meeting - Web Link subscribers to my youtube channel has skyrocketed, and I now have over 300... People approach me almost daily thanking me for saying something, and I've interviewed over 60 people who have real concerns about the police, especially how the police are treating their children. Some of the interviews have been anonymous, and that's fine; they will make their way to Corruption.us.com, but What I dont understand is why the Police department doesn't follow through with their commitment. They have a protocol we must follow to file a formal complaint that stays in the Officers file for 5 years; trends of abuse, etc. become very obvious and Officers are weeded out, but in this case a complaint of not only abuse but also of sexual harassment was made against Officer Martens. Protocol was followed, I was admonished, filled out the form and I gave Sgt. Reimer, (the investigator) the specifics and the contact information of people who were harassed but he has not contacted them, and Martens is still allowed on the street and in our children's school. Why are they putting our community in this position; especially our children? Do you trust this Officer around your kids?
