Posted by Resident, a resident of the Valencia neighborhood, on Apr 20, 2012 at 9:13 am Does anyone know if a small refrigerator would be accepted at this collection event? How about old paint cans? Can anyone tell me how to dispose of these items? Thanks!

Posted by Joanne Hall, a resident of the Downtown neighborhood, on Apr 20, 2012 at 9:29 am Unfortunately, refrigerators and other appliances will not be accepted at this event, nor will paint cans which are considered hazardous material. However, you can vist www.stopwaste.org for a full list of where to dispose of both of these items in Alameda County.
