Welcome back Pacific Standard time
Daylight-saving time 2011 ended at 2 a.m. this morning

 | Pacific Standard Time came back at 2 a.m. this morning, ending more than six months of daylight saving time that found most of us leaving for work and school in the dark in the last few weeks.
Tomorrow should find a bit of daylight at 6 a.m. when Monday truly gets under way.
Firefighters remind us that when we change our clocks in the spring and the fall, it's a good time to change the batteries in our smoke alarms as well.

Generally, the farm community hates daylight savings time. I know, I was one for years.
However, now that I am a city slicker, I love daylight savings time. That extra hour of daylight in the evening is great for BBQing, working in the yard, doing home projects, playing golf, playing with the kids, sports, etc. I wish we had DST year round.
