State Senator will update environmental legislation, go on walk during Sunol Spring Wildflower Festival
|
| State Senator Ellen Corbett, (D-San Leandro), will host a town hall meeting among the Sunol wildflowers today. From 12:30 to 2 p.m., Corbett, whose district includes part of Pleasanton, will give constituents an update on key environmental legislation and other issues.
She will also take a walk led by a park district naturalist.
The event is being held during the Sunol Spring Wildflower Festival, sponsored by the East Bay Regional Park District.
It will be held at the Old Green Barn Visitor Center in Sunol Regional Wilderness Park, 1895 Geary Road, Sunol. The wildflower festival runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include exhibits, arts and crafts, face painting, games, hikes and lectures. --Janet Pelletier Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition?
