Congressman Jerry McNerney (D-Pleasanton) visited Donlon Elementary school Monday to read to Donlon Elementary School third-graders. He read works of Dr. Seuss, a.k.a. Theodor Seuss Geisel, during Read Across America Day.

McNerney, i love it, always reaching out to your community. i went to school with both his children. both nice, respectful people. coming from a good family headed by McNerney. Though a few issues might have us on different grounds at times. you are a great public official, and community leader. always reaching out, which is awsome. good job!

McNerney is one tough Irishman who will take down any republican redneck from the Central Valley that tries to run against him in the 2008 election.

The mental picture of McNerny reading Dr Seuss to elementary school students recalls George W. Bush reading to elementary school students during the 911 attack on the World Trade Center!!!!
