Amador girls softball team holds 1st annual 'Play for a Cure' game
Special event dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness.

The girls varsity softball team at Amador Valley High School held its first Annual "Play for a Cure" game yesterday in a game Coach Teresa Borchard said was dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness.
Players wore pink and ran to pink bases. Several Breast Cancer Survivors threw out the first pitches."

Posted by AVSoftball, a member of the Amador Valley High School community, on Apr 1, 2010 at 11:21 am The game will start at 4:00. Pregame activities start at 3:30. There will be tri-tip sandwiches, hot dogs, chili dogs, and a bake sale. All proceedes will go to the Susan B. Komen research fund.
