| Dublin's annual St. Patrick's Day festival launched a week of celebrations last Saturday with thousands of parade participants and parade spectators jamming the city's downtown streets, many from Pleasanton who joined in the fun.
As the parade ended, the crowds moved over to the Dublin Civic Center parking lot for eight hours of carnival-like festivities with more than 100 craft and commercial vendor booths, an international food court, three stages of authentic Irish entertainment, sheep herding and more.
Representatives of the Pleasanton Weekly and TriValley Views and the online editions of those two newspapers as www.sanramonexpress.com and www.danvilleexpress.com were there, showing how to access these media online. Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition?
