Vasco Road reopened with part of roadway rebuilt, realigned
Motorists should find it easier going on Alameda County portion of heavily-traveled thoroughfare

Vasco Road reopened for motorists yesterday after being closed for three days to allow for roadwork on the Alameda County segment.

Drivers should find it easier going as a result of a new and realigned roadway, part of the Vasco Road Safety Project. The section rebuilt is from north of Republic Landfill Drive to south of the entrance to the Los Vaqueros Reservoir.
