The Taylor Family Foundation recently unveiled a new chalk garden at Camp Arroyo in Livermore. The Chalk Corner features a concrete design for campers to draw, color and write on the ground and walls.

In addition, TTFF also recently installed a new play apparatus called Sway Fun. Campers can rock and roll in a bench seat, standing up or sitting down, holding onto a center table. It is wheelchair accessible and ready for children with life-threatening illnesses and disabilities to enjoy as part of their camp experience.

The new additions were made possible by contributions from Starbucks California Giving Program, Dave Bing of White Oak Landscape, Environmental Foresight, Inc., Landscape Architects, Tree Wise, Berlogar Geotechnical Consultants, Cresco Equipment Rentals and the East Bay Regional Park District.

The Taylor Family Foundation, founded by Elaine and Barry Taylor in 1990, is a nonprofit organization. In 1998, TTFF partnered with the East Bay Regional Park District to build Camp Arroyo, a year-round residential camp in Livermore. TTFF funds the summer program at Camp Arroyo and is co-operated by the YMCA of the East Bay.
