Our own Dennis Miller is giving his Alameda County Fair horseracing picks for today, July 10.


DENNIS MILLER JULY 10 FAIR PICKS

1.Ryan Time Corona…Second here last week. Micanfly…Could be dropping to good spot. Checks Perfectly…Connections put right into mix.

2. La Jest a Flash…Ran very well vs. the last start Babes Zell…Worth a serious look. Genuine Guy…Beaten favorite in Stockton.

3. She'smylittleman…Figures to be too much for Beulah Fay…Two straight impressive wins. Peek a Boop…Will be in the mix heading for home

4. Daytona…Should get over the hump here. Warren's Jack V…Finally found a spot to his liking. Buen Mozo…Looks to be in solid spot.

5. Ocean Cracker…This should be the perfect spot. Tiger On the Prowl…Fired fresh last out. Moonlit Master…Former stakes placed runner on big drop.

6. Austie…Hard worker coming off brief freshener Alex and Me…Been solid in this spot. Slow N Easy…Won here in 2007, lots of past class.

7. Storm the Field…Should be graduation day. Rose's Lad…Should appreciate stretching out. Oesta Dos…Will get much better trip this time.

8. Blaze N Waggin…Wins this if fires fresh De Magic…Good spot for debut.
A Buzzinthekinght…Been drilling well on track for return.

9. Flirt With Justice…Think shift to main track will help. Da Heat…Expect to see great trip. Classic Demand…Nice works for follow up to maiden score

10. Ringmaster…The one to beat here. Velvet Sword…Troubled trip in return. More Than Class…Will be setting the pace.

let's hope none of these horses end up on the truck to mexico......... SO many race horses that don't make it in the races, end up going to slaughter.... please visit www.tbfriends.com This man does a wonderful work and rescues as many TB off the slaughter truck as he can.

Thanks Trotter, I was just talking about that movie yesterday with a group of people.

Great post Bobbi -- there are other organizations as well who are trying to help horses who can longer race. They are beautiful animals who deserve the best when they retire.
