Dublin's annual Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk will be held Sunday, March 17, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The Fun Run begins on westbound Dublin Boulevard near the bridge over the Alamo Canal, heads west and then turns north on Village Parkway, east on Amador Valley Boulevard, south on York Drive, around the bend and north on Penn Drive, and then east past the Iron Horse Trail to the Alamo Creek Trail entrance on the south side of Amador Valley Boulevard. The course then follows the Alamo Canal Trail south to the finish line behind the Dublin Library. Following is a schedule of the road closures starting at 7 a.m. and ending about 10 a.m.:
• Westbound Dublin Blvd. from Sierra Ct. to Village Pkwy.
• Northbound Village Pkwy. from Dublin Blvd. to Amador Valley Blvd.
• Eastbound Amador Valley Blvd. from Village Parkway to Wildwood Rd.
• Southbound side of York Dr. and northbound side of Penn Dr.
