New Bioscience Academy on Pleasanton school board's agenda tonight
|
| The Pleasanton school board will meet at 7 p.m. tonight to consider, among other issues, a proposed $50,000 project establishing a Health and Bioscience Academy at Foothill High School starting next August. The academy would be part of a four-year program at Foothill called Project Lead the Way, a four-course curriculum approved by the University of California on "Principles of the Bio-Medical Sciences." Tonight's regular meeting will follow a 5 p.m. closed session of the board and will be held in the school district's headquarters building at 4665 Bernal Ave., near First Street.
