Pleasanton leaders, vets welcome home Army Specialist Eith from Afghanistan
1-hour celebration includes family, friends, many veteran support groups

| Nearly 100 well-wishers turned out Sunday afternoon to welcome home Army Specialist Kyle Eith to Pleasanton.
The celebration, arranged by Pleasanton Military Families and veterans organizations, took place in front of the home of his parents, Peggy and Jeff Eith at their home on Yosemite Court.
Eith, a 2006 graduate of Amador Valley High School, spent the past year at Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan.
Among those at Sunday's event were Congressman Eric Swalwell, Pleasanton Mayor Jerry Thorne, City Councilmman Jerry Petin and Planning Commissioner and City Council candidate Kathy Narum.
