2 in custody after multi-county police pursuit that started in Livermore
Suspects flee in car linked to local burglary, caught near Byron

Two men were arrested Wednesday afternoon after leading police on a multi-county chase that ended in a crash near Byron Highway, a police sergeant said.
The pursuit began in Livermore this afternoon after police attempted to stop a suspect vehicle linked to a burglary, Livermore police Sgt. John Hurd said.
The chase continued with assistance from multiple law enforcement agencies and ended in East Contra Costa County near Byron Highway after the suspect vehicle crashed, Hurd said.
One of the suspects suffered minor injuries.
