The Pleasanton school board and the city of Pleasanton's Parks and Recreation commission will both meet tonight to consider long-range master plans affecting the city's and school district's future. The school board will consider the final draft of its facilities master plan, including nearly a half-billion dollars in suggested improvements. The city commission will host its third and last community workshop for the city's comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The Parks and Recreation commission workshop will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Veteran's Memorial Building, 301 Main St. The school board meeting will start at 7 p.m. in the district's headquarters at 4665 Bernal Ave.
