The free Classic Film Series at the Pleasanton Public Library starts again tonight in the new year at 7 p.m. with the showing of the legendary "Singin in the Rain". The program is hosted by Candy Klaschus, a film historian who coordinates the Humanities program at Las Positas College. The programs, held on the first Thursday of every month, are free and all are welcome to attend. Note that some films are mature in content and may not be suitable for children.
