Pleasanton Chamber holds ribbon-cutting today for new bakery at Safeway's Gateway Center

The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. today to officially open The Corner Bakery, a new cafe located in the Safeway Gateway Center at Bernal and Valley avenues. The new bakery's address is 6770 Bernal Ave.

Do you know what is going into the space that was vacated when the Bagel Street Cafe left the plaza near Raley's?

Got my free mug and coffee for a year card this morning. Very nice staff and cute little place. The cheese cream frosted gingerbread was awesome!
