Talon Talk, the newsletter for Foothill High School, reports that orders are due starting today, Nov. 1, for graduation caps/gowns, graduation announcements and class rings. Orders will be taken during lunch at the school's outdoor quad today and again next Tuesday, Nov. 6. Makeup orders will be accepted Tuesday, Nov. 13. Students were given order packets at the school, according to Zoe Francis, who edits the online publication.

Online orders are also accepted. Visit Foothill's website and click on Senior Information. Cap and gown, announcements, etc. can all be ordered through Jostens which is the company that is taking orders on campus on the above mentioned days.

I am not sure why the PW needs to reiterate what already goes home to parents and is available on the schools website. This is part of the problem in america today...too much coddling. They (students/parents) get enough notices, I know, I am a high school parent, why do they need the local newsaper reminding them too?

Nancy, what is your problem? For people that work and dont always get a chance to stay on top of the latest school requirement, it's helpful to have a reminder that an important requirement is coming due.

Why on earth would you feel compelled to bitch about the editor of the PW posting this information? Did you not get enough attention at home today? No soaps on TV? Get a hobby or a job...really.

@liberalism....i have both hobbies and a job, just think the pw could cover more useful topics than ones that are already shoved down are throats from the schools.

if it bothered you so much, Why did you even bother to complain?

Thank you PW for posting this, I had no clue they were due already.

Nancy im sure this posting did not take away from real news happening around town, i'm sure you had plenty of time to share whatever is happeing with friends and family and most likely the whole town knows about it already.

Lighten up!
