The Pleasanton Community Concert Band will present a special, free performance today of Halloween-themed music including classics, funeral marches and theme music from TV shows.

The concert will start at 2 p.m. in the Firehouse Arts Center, 4444 Railroad Ave., in downtown Pleasanton.

Called "Chillers and Thrillers," the family concert will include famous Halloween-connected classics such as "Danse Macabre," "Sorcerer's Apprentice," and "Toccata & Fugue."

Funeral marches by Gounod and Chopin also will be part of the concert.

Music from the TV favorites Bewitched, The Munsters and the Addams Family will highlight the performance along with the title medley of John Williams hits, "Chillers and Thrillers."
